Personal Experience

Vijay U Lichade is a competent & diligent mining professional with an experience in above ground, underground excavation operationand production, HSE & product quality management.

During his professional life he works in various prestigious projects in leading construction companies like Continental Construction Ltd,New Delhi, Gammon India Ltd.,RMCReadymix India (A Division of Prism Cement Ltd).

He has an area of expertise in mining,quarrying,excavation along with aggregate crushing, Specially in hand experience in controlled drilling blasting in large excavation like dam site excavation, quarryexcavation, civil area excavation as well as underground excavation like tunneling, shaft sinking,etc. He also having skill in various crusher operations & maintenance.

Vijay passed his Diploma in MINING & MINE SURVEYING in 1998 from Board Of Technical Examination, Maharashtra State. After diploma he completed Post Diploma in mining, Gas Testing Examination by DGMS. He also obtained the Second Class Mines Manager Competency Certificate from Director General Of Mines Safety, Dhanbad. He also completed his (Graduation) Bachelor Of Arts in hindi leaturature in 2006 from Mumbai University.

As a professional he starts his carrier as a field engineer (Quarry)in a small company in Gujrat where he gets the interest in deep hole drilling blasting, mine planning work in 1999-2000. In seeking a challenging job he went to Himachal Pradesh with Continental Construction in excavation department at Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Project (Formerly named Sutluj Jalvidyut Nigam) at Nathapa (1500 MW) Dist. Kinnour,HP. It was one of the big mega project in Asia. During his service he also works with Gammon India Ltd,at Dist.Kathua (Jammu & Kashmir).He also works in Rajasthan Atomic Power Project (RAPP,KOTA),Rawatbhata

In Maharashtra with RMC Readymix India,he successfully run the 250 TPH crusher & quarry in a close proximity of village in Thane Dist. with deep hole drilling blasting for more than 10 years.He also works in various parts of India for the business development work of quarry & aggregate industry.

During his career he gets the opportunity to learn the working expertise under the guidance of Indian as well as Canadian Engineers. He take a part or participate in various seminar / workshops organized by Govt. or non Govt. organization regarding the drilling blasting work.

In the journey of professional life with his team was awarded the National Safety award for the safe working of Quarry & Crusher.
